Florida Revival in the Meeting Tent of the Lord

Florida Healing Revival and Outpouring has moved to a semi-permanent building, the tent of the Lord! It is at the Sun-n-Fun Museum at Lakeland Linder Regional Airport in Lakeland, FloridaThank you to our faithful readers who have been patient with our team while we had our team in Haiti. (See more on that here: www.cimhaiti.org.)

It has been almost 2 whole weeks since we have updated you on the powerful move of God STILL GOING ON HERE IN LAKELAND, FLORIDA!

Last night we visited and found another 3,000 – 4,000 people passionately pursuing God.

Todd Bentley and the Fresh Fire team from Vancouver, British Columbia has set up a semi-permanent tent to house over 10,000 people. Roy Fields continues to lead the masses into heart-felt worship, touching the hem of the Holiest of Holies.

Todd was not there last night, but will be back on today.

My Pastor is down there right now so I’m looking forward to the “spiritual souvenirs” that come home with him!

    Bentley Explains:
On June 8, 2008, Todd Bentley posted on his ministry’s website a detailed letter explaining a number of things that people are confused or stumbling over regarding the outpouring and himself, and in which he appeals for unity in the Body of Christ. We have found this letter to be solidly Biblical, balanced, well-written, and quite helpful. It can be found at this link: http://www.freshfire.ca/?Id=1059&pid=993

    Biblical Scholar provides theological support:
Dr. Gary S. Greig, PhD., former Associate Professor of Old Testament and Hebrew at Regent University School of Divinity, and Senior Editor, Theology and Acquisitions for the Regal Publishing Group, has written a theological response to questions and criticisms of the Lakeland outpouring. Dr. Greig recently wrote “Biblical Reasons to Receive God’s Glory and Give it Away in Power Evangelism,” so that as many as possible would receive “biblical permission” to get on board and fully commit to receiving the Lord’s glory and anointing, and to give it away in power evangelism. You can find his paper at this link: http://www.freshfire.ca/UserFiles/File/drGreg_biblicalperspective2008.pdf

This is a interesting post. I’ve always been a fan of this kind of thinking. I’m hoping that this starts a revival of this style of thinking along the same lines.
